Susan has a background in Engineering and is a fully qualified teacher. She is also an ordained minister and member of the pastoral team of her local church. She has been in education for many years, starting off with teaching English as a Foreign Language, both to children and to adults. After doing a Post-graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), she has had an active role in various schools, both as a full time teacher and later as a supply (substitute) teacher, which she still does to date and absolutely enjoys. Beyond the classroom, her passion for storytelling has evolved into a dedicated writing practice. Having recently completed her first picture book, she is hard at work on several upcoming projects.
Teni is hoping to get an award for her hard work in class. But when she gets to school, her teacher is not there! Instead, she meets a stranger who she is unsure about. Have fun on this journey with Teni as she discovers what it means to have a supply teacher, reassuring children that it’s ok to have someone different in their class sometimes and teaching them to work hard towards their hopes and dreams.
